Mrs. Susie Stroud

  Mrs. Susie Stroud, 78, of Many, died on Monday, July 29, at 7:30
p.m., in Shreveport, after an extended illness. Funeral services
were on Wednesday, July 31, at 2 p.m., at the Little Flock
Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. P. King, and the Rev. Larry
Foster officiating. Burial was in the Little Flock Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband, Floyd Stroud of Many; 2 sons,
Bryan Stroud of Hobbs, New Mexico, and Glenn Stroud of
Springfield, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Madge Jones of Shreveport;
two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Satcher of Nederland, Tex., and Mrs.
Nezzie Perkins of Shreveport; and 5 grandchildren.
