The Sabine Index - R. S. Stewart

  8 Feb 1946 - Funeral rites for R. S. Stewart, age 85 years,
were held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, from the bible Baptist church
of Hornbeck. Rev. H. E. Chance officiated with interment in Mt.
Carmel cemetery, Hixon Funeral home in charge.

  Surviving are the following: daughters, Mrs. Emma Hildebrand,
Fisher, Mrs. Jane Knippers, Longville, Mrs. Fannie Spears,
Hornbeck, Mrs. Beulah Leach, San Francisco, Calif; one son, Mack
Stewart, McNary, Arizona; 24 grandchildren, a brother, W. D.
Stewart, Florien; sister, Mrs. Mollie Knippers, Florien.

  Mr. Stewart was a member of Bible Baptist church for 63
years.
