The Sabine Index - August 2, 1973

  Alba R. Stroud

  Alba Rebecca Stroud, 86 of Many died July 14.

  Funeral Services were held at 4 p.m. in the Pendleton Assembly
of God Church July 16 at 4 p.m. with the Rev. A. V. Walters
officiating. Burial followed in the Beulah Cemetery.

  Survivors include five sons, T. J. Stroud of Florien, Howard H.
Stroud, of Shreveport; A. J. Stroud of Many, Caswell Stroud of
Salt Lake City, Utah and the Rev. D. E. Stroud of Hodge; one
daughter,Mrs. B. W. Flanagan of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen
Carter of Bronson, Tex. and Mrs. Gatsie Tatum of Vidor, Tex.; 22
grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were James Flanagan, Sammy Flanagan, R. H. Anderson,
W. A. Stroud, R. D. Stroud and John D. Roberts.
