The Sabine Index - E. R. Stroud

  14 Oct 1949 - Funeral rites for E. R. Stroud, 75, who passed
away Monday at Fraser sanitarium, were conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday
at the chapel of Massingill funeral home by Rev. W. M. Greer.
Interment followed in Siloam cemetery under direction Massingill
funeral home.

  Pallbearers were Richard Miller, W. O. Bickham, Nathan Hall,
Percy Stroud, Howard Stroud, Floyd Stroud.

  Surviving relatives include: the widow of Negreet;
sons, Roy and Ramon of Negreet; daughters, Mrs. Truman Anthony,
Strong, Ark., Mrs. George Salter, Negreet; brother, J. P. Stroud,
Negreet; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

  Mr. Stroud, a pioneer farmer of Sabine parish, had been
retired for several years due to his health.
