Services were at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 4, in Hixson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Carl Burris officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Florien. Survivors include three sons, Maurice Stewart of Moreno, Calif., Billy Mack Stewart of Almagordo, N. M.; one daughter, Madeline Wells of Simpson; three sisters, Odessa Warrik of Deer Park, Texas, Illa Blackwell of Anacoco, and Irene Brown of Hornbeck; one brother, the Rev. L. R. Chance of Hornbeck; 10 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
