Stroud, 87, of Many, died in Fraser Hospital South, Friday, Nov. 2, at 3 p.m., following a lengthy illness. Survivors include two sons, Howard Stroud of Many, and Percy Stroud of Oildale, Calif.; five daughters, Mrs. Vernon Masters, and Mrs. Johnny Hossler, both of Many, Mrs. Lavern Richards of Whitesboro, Tex., Mrs. Erma Cooper of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. Georgia Cook of Nederland, Tex.; one brother, J. B. Wooley of Zwolle; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Beulah Baptist Church, Sunday, Nov. 4, at 2 p.m. Officiating were the Rev. Kenneth Leach, and the Rev. Delman Rogers. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
