Stewart (Photo) Services for Mrs. Margaret E. Stewart, 58, of Shreveport, were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 17, at the Sunset Acres Baptist Church. The Rev. Rodney Duron, pastor of First Assembly of God Church, and Dr. George Smith, pastor of Sunset Acres Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was at Forest Park Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Mrs. Stewart, a housewife, died at 6:10 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 1985, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a long illness. She was born in Marthaville, La., and had lived most of her life in Shreveport. She was a member of Sunset Acres Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert Stewart of Shreveport; two daughters, Teri Bounds, and Linda Stewart of Shreveport; three granddaughters, Jami Lynn Bounds, Jodi Lee Bounds, and Donna Lynn Johnston; three sisters, Mrs. J. L. Dupree, and Mrs. Mary Rains of Shreveport, Mrs. H. C. McAllen of Marthaville, La., and one niece, and several nephews, and other relatives. Pallbearers were Gary Northern, George McGovern, A. J. Bennett, George Tully, Dr. Joe E. Holoubek, Wallace Long, and Don Strahan. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. Bill Eddleman, Dr. Ben Quinney, and Dr. Wallace Brown. Memorials may be made to Christian Life Center Building Fund.
