Mrs. Ethel Stroud

  6 Jan 1961 - Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec.
31 for Mrs. Ethel Stroud, 62, who died while en route to a Many
hospital Friday.

  The services were held in the Florien Baptist church with the
Rev. San Ware, the Rev. Earl Marr, and the Rev. Paul Carter
officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel cemetery under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors include one son, Ernest Mothershed of Nederland, Tex.;
two daughters, Mrs. Norman Barbier of Port Arthur, Tex., Mrs.
Harold Iles of Lake Charles; five brothers, the Rev. Q. M. Corley
of Fort Worth, Tex., L. G. Corley and B. Corley of Natchitoches;
two sisters, Mrs. C. A. Jones of Patterson and Mrs. Othal Miller
of Florien. Also Luther F. Corley and Rufus P. Corley of Florien
and 9 grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Clayton Corley, James B. Corley, Dillon Corley,
James A. Miller, Wingate Dowden, and Ora Mothershed.
