Golda Mae Stroud

  Funeral services for Mrs. Golda Mae Stroud, 64, were held
Thursday, April 19, at 2 p.m., in the Beulah Baptist Church
Interment followed in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Ken Leach, Rev. Hayward
Hossler, and Rev. Jimmy Evans officiated.

  Mrs. Stroud passed away, April 17, at LSU Medical Center in
Shreveport.

  She is survived by three brothers, Talf Slaughter of Many,
Tevess L. Slaughter of Hornbeck, Woodrow Slaughter of Vowells
Mill; one sister, Lovie Rogers of Many; three grandchildren,
Jeremy Cook, Markae Cook, and Colby Cook; three step
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by a husband, James B. Stroud; and
son, Jimmy Stroud.
