Mrs. Linda Magdalene Stroud

  Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Magdalene Stroud, 80, were held
Thursday, February 14, at 2 p.m., in Gandy Baptist Church.
Interment followed in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Kenneth Leach Sr.
officiated.

  Mrs. Stroud died Tuesday, February 12, at Toledo Nursing Center
in Zwolle.

  She is survived by her husband, Thomas "Jack" Stroud of Florien;
five sons, Joe Stroud of Baton Rouge, Lyndel Stroud of Virginia,
Hubert Stroud of Keithville, Douglas Stroud of Austin, Texas, and
Carroll Stroud of Gilmer, Texas; one daughter, Kathlene
Gremillion of Raleigh, N. C.; seven sisters, Trudie Stroud of
Many, Nancy Carrol of Many, Annie Mae Howell of Stonewall, Lona
Ford of Florien, Maggie Duhamel of Stonewall, Billie Hammond, and
Bobbie Pitt, both of Florien; fifteen grandchildren; twenty eight
great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Mrs. Stroud's nephews.
