Gertie Mae Stewart

  Funeral services for Mrs. Gertie Mae Stewart, 85, were held at 2
p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, at Hornbeck Pentecostal Church, with Rev.
Carpenter officiating. Interment followed in Florien Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Stewart died Friday, Dec. 6, at Byrd Memorial Hospital in
Leesville.

  She is survived by three daughters, Willie Mae Cutrer of
Zachary, Betty McComic of Florien, and Billie Shackleford of
Hornbeck; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 4
great-great grandchildren.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kelly Stewart;
and sons, Louis Paul Stewart, Hardy Devain Stewart, and Wilburn
Roy Stewart.

  Pallbearers included Ken Powell, Tommy Kay, Shannon Stewart,
Kelly Stewart, Chris Rubar, Edward Rubar, and honorary
pallbearer, Shelby Shackleford.
