Mamie Myers Stewart

  Funeral services for Mamie Myers Stewart, 73, of Converse, were
held Saturday, September 7, 1996, at 2 p.m., at the First Baptist
Church of Converse, with Dr. Bob Phillips, pastor of the First
Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was at Converse Cemetery.

  Mrs. Stewart passed away Thursday, September 5, after a brief
illness, at DeSoto General Hospital. She was a homemaker.

  Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her son, James Britton
Stewart.

  She is survived by her husband, William James Stewart of
Converse; son, Jackie Stewart and wife Brenda of Stonewall;
sister, Mrs. Thelma Bushnell of Dry Creek; grandchildren,
Christopher, Bandy, and Mark; great grandchild, Matt; and a host
of friends.
