Mr. Thomas Jackson Stroud

  Mr. Thomas Jackson Stroud, 89, died Friday, July 24, at
Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 27, at
Pendleton Assembly of God, with interment following at Florien
Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel Davis officiated.

  Survivors include five sons, Joe Stroud of Baton Rouge, Lyndel
Stroud of Gonzales, Hubert Stroud of Shreveport, Douglas Stroud
of Granite Shoals, Texas, and Carroll Stroud of Monroe; one
daughter, Kathlene Gremillion of Jonesboro, Tenn.; one sister,
Alice Flannagan of Okla.; four brothers, Howard Stroud of
Springhill, Casell Stroud of Shreveport, A. J. Stroud, and
Danewood Stroud, both of Many; 12 grandchildren; 20 great
grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.
