Caswell H. Stroud

  Bossier City, La.

  Mr. Stroud died Monday, December 31, 2001. He was in Hospice
Care. He was preceded in death by his parents, Asa and Alba
Merritt Stroud; two brothers; and his first wife, Mary Ann
Stroud.

  He is survived by his wife, Ruthalee Matthews Carr Stroud; and
her children, Melinda C. Guin and husband Dean, and J. D. Carr
Jr.; his children, Leatha, and David Stroud; and four
grandchildren of Utah; three brothers and their spouses; and one
sister; numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

  Mr. Stroud donated his body to science. There will be a memorial
service later. Any donations may be made to Hospice, 8508 Line
Ave., Suite C, Shreveport, La. 71106, or the charity of the
donor's choice.
