Ed Stewart

  Ed Stewart, 74, died in Many, after an extended illness Sunday,
March 27, at 2:40 p.m.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Edith Stewart of Many; one son,
Gary Preston Stewart of Houston; four daughters, Mrs. Mavis
Jenkins, and Mrs. Edith McDaniel, both of Robeline, Eddie Lou
Stewart of Florien, and Doris Stewart of Houston; two sisters,
Mrs. Anna Nichols, and Mrs. Ella Hildebrand, both of Many; 16
grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel
Tuesday, March 19, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. A. J. Dupree, and the
Rev. Burnice McInnis officiating.

  Pallbearers were Woodrow Nichols, Kenny Nichols, Ponder
Hildebrand, James Hildebrand, Bobby Teasley, and Jerry
Strickland.
