Services were held at Friendship Nazarene Church, with interment at Friendship Cemetery in Robeline, July 6, at 3 p.m. The Rev. Luden Hutto, and the Rev. Clearence Patton officiated. Pallbearers were Billie Matthews, Earl Arthur, Gerald Knippers, Glen Knippers, Harold Matthews, Alfice Brumley, Bennie Carnline, and Odis C. Faust Jr. Surviving relatives are his sons, Redic Stewart, Younger Stewart, and Eldred Stewart, all of Robeline, and the Rev. James Stewart of Muldrow, Oklahoma; daughters, Mrs. Howard Arthur of Florien, Mrs. J. R. Matthews of Robeline, Mrs. Reasy Carnline, Mrs. Johnny Carnline, Mrs. Oscar Lambert, Mrs. Clayton Faust, Mrs. Audrey Malone, and Mrs. Curtis Knippers, all of Many; brothers are Robert Stewart of Shreveport, Rollie Stewart, the Rev. Claude Stewart, Clarence Stewart, and Cleveland Stewart, all of Florien; a sister, Mrs. Vora Thaxton of Florien; 35 grandchildren; and 38 great grandchildren.
