M. J. (Jack) Stroud

  Last rites for M. J. (Jack) Stroud, age 83, who died Nov. 13,
was conducted at Ebenezer Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m., Nov. 15,
with Rev. Paul Carter officiating. Interment was in the church
cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Clarence Bush, S. D., and Ben D. Peterson,
Howard, and Jack Salter, and Gordon Williams.

  Survivors are daughter, Mrs. Harold Iles of Lake Charles; two
grandchildren; one brother, E. L. Stroud of Kilgore; one sister,
Mrs. Joe Watson of Kilgore; several nieces and nephews of
Henderson, Overton, and Kilgore.
