Ouida L. Strain

  Mrs. Ouida L. Strain of Pleasant Hill, died in Fraser Hospital -
North, on Monday, Oct. 21, at 9:40 a.m., following an extended
illness. She was 82.

  Mrs. Strain served as Pleasant Hill Branch Librarian from 1948
through 1976.

  Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Edwin E. Randall of Baton
Rouge, and Mrs. Pauline Roberson of Many; two nieces, and four
nephews.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel
on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Vernon
Stephenson officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery,
under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
