John Henry Strong

  Funeral services for John Henry Strong of Zwolle, were held on
Friday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m., at the Bayou Scie Methodist Church,
with the Rev. Ray Spiller officiating.

  He died on Wednesday, Feb. 4, in his residence on Old Zwolle
Road, at the age of 78, following a short illness.

  Burial was at the Bayou Scie Methodist Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow, Eula Mae Strong, Zwolle; two sons,
John Howard Strong of Shreveport, and James Daniel Strong, Waco,
Tex.; three daughters, Myrtle Pauline Wall, Shreveport, Mable
Lorree Chapman, Ozark, Mo., and Mary Louise Brown, also of
Shreveport; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
