The Sabine Index - Sarah I. Stringer

  30 May 1941 - Last rites for Sarah I. Stringer, age 99 years,
two months and 10 days, were held at Pisgah at 11 o'clock last
Saturday, Dennis-Green funeral home in charge, interment in
Pisgah cemetery.

  Surviving are two sons, J. A. and A. A. Stringer, Mayflower,
Texas; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

  Mrs. Stringer was probably Sabine parish's oldest citizen,
having lived in Sabine parish 72 years. She was a beloved citizen
of Florien community and will be missed by all who knew her.
