Daniel Williams, Rev. Barney Barnhill, and Rev. Everett Thornton officiated. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery near Marthaville. Pallbearers were David Strahan, Michael Strahan, Steven Strahan, Ken Craig, Ronnie Stoope, Fred Smips. They are the grandsons, and grandsons-in-law. Mrs. Strahan, 77, of Marthaville, died in the Natchitoches Parish Hospital in Natchitoches on August 22, 1985, at 10:35 a.m. Mrs. Strahan is preceded in death by her late husband, Mr. Thomas Leffie Strahan. Survivors include one son, Paul Strahan of Marthaville; five daughters, Dahlia Lewis of Shreveport, Joann Kowalski of Athens, Ga., Bettye Cabra of Many, Nell Palmer of Natchitoches, and Judy Keith of Tulsa, Okla.; thirteen grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Services were under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
