  Earl Stringer - October 25, 1973

  Earl Stringer, 66, of Hornbeck, died on Sunday, Oct. 21, at 1:05
a.m. in Alexandria, after an extended illness.

  Stringer is survived by two brothers, Cecil Stringer, Hornbeck,
Walter Stringer, Kirbyville, Tex., and one half-sister, Mrs. Lela
Sandell of Florien.


  Graveside services were conducted at Beckom Cemetery near
Hornbeck, on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Roy
Dowden officiating. Burial was at the Beckom Cemetery.

  Pallbearers were Kenneth Stringer, Tommie Stringer, C. D.
Burlison, Troy Sandell, Floyce Sandell, and Walter Stringer.
