Stringer, 90, were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 22, 1989, at the Many First United Pentecostal, with the Rev. C. J. Walea, assisted by the Rev. Rudolph Hennigan. Burial was at Ft. Jesup Cemetery in Many. Mrs. Stringer died Wednesday, April 19, 1989, at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Many. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church since 1929, and was one of the original charter members of the Work in Many. Her one desire was to see this new church building completed. She thought it was beautiful, and remarked about it. Mrs. Stringer was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Thomas Bailey Stringer (May 15, 1981), and also by her eldest son, Carl Bailey Stringer (May 15, 1971). She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Quinton Stringer and wife Lois of Zwolle, Rev. James Stringer and wife Shirley of Ft. Jesup; one daughter-in-law, Marie Stringer of Velma, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, friends, and cousins. Pallbearers were grandsons and great grandsons.
