James Austin Strange

  Services for James Austin Strange, 67, were held at 4 p.m.,
Thursday, Jan. 23, at First Baptist Church of Florien. Rev. Billy
Burkett, and Rev. Joe Ratcliff officiated. Interment followed at
the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

  Mr. Strange died Tuesday, Jan. 21, at Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Sue Strange of Many; three
daughters, Debra Asby Waters of Many, Penny Asby Cloutier of
Natchitoches, Debra Kaye Strange of Shreveport; one sister,
Lorene Singleton of Bend; one brother, Wayne Strange of Plano;
six grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Jason Ashley, Mark Smith, Matt Smith, Ronald
Wilson, Danny Wilson, Terry Wilson.
