All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Eula Mae Russell Strong SHREVEPORT, LA - Services for Mrs. Eula Mae Russell Strong, 87, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 1991 at Bayou Scie United Methodist Church, Zwolle, La., with her son, John Strong, of Nashville, Ark., officiating. Burial will be at Bayou Scie United Methodist Church Cemetery, Zwolle, La. Visitation will be at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel on Friday, May 17, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and on Saturday, May 18, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mrs. Strong will lie in state on Saturday from 12 noon until service time at Bayou Scie United Methodist Church, Zwolle, La. Mrs. Strong died Thursday, May 16, 1991 at the Garden Park Nursing Home. She was a life long member of Bayou Scie United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Strong. Survivors include three daughters, Myrtle Wall and husband, Jim, Louise Brown and husband, W.F., all of Shreveport, Mable Chapman and husband, Wilbur of Ozark, Mo.; two sons, John Strong and wife, Bobbie of Nashville Ark. and James Strong and wife, Gloria of Waco, Texas; one brother, Harold Russell of Sugarland. Texas; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Michael and Bruce Wall, Eugene and Robert Chapman, John and Roger Strong, Michael and Matthew Strong, Robert and Jeff Brown. The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Bruce Brouillette, and the nursing staff of the Garden Park Nursing Home for their skills and compassion.
