Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 9, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many. Burial followed at Oak Grove cemetery in Converse. The Rev. Marshall Ingle, and the Rev. Todd Pylant officiated. Mr. Strahan was born in Bogalusa, and was a graduate of Leesville High School, and Northwestern State University, where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order. He was employed as a manager of Ryan's Steak House in Conroe, Texas. Survivors include his widow, Robin McDonald Strahan of Conroe, Texas; his parents, C. S. M. Ronald and Marselene Strahan of Fort Bragg, N. C.; paternal grandmother, Genavia Knight of Pine Thomas; three sisters, Karen Robertson and husband Chris of Leesville, Amy Pickett and husband Bryan of Fort Bragg, N. C., and Sharon Strahan of Fort Bragg, N. C.; three nieces, Kiersten Robertson, Kayla Pickett, and Kimberly Robertson; one nephew, Kaleb Chandler; mother and father-in-law, John and Lela Novak of Converse; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Rose Chandler of Lufkin, Texas; brother-in-law, Ritchie McDonald of Oak Grove; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
