Mrs. Mattie Stringer

  Mrs. Mattie Stringer, 77, of New Llano, died in the War Memorial
Hospital in Leesville, Nov. 17, after an extended illness.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel, Nov. 18, with the Rev. Johnny Rhodes, and the Rev. Arthur
Haymon officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery near
Hornbeck, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of
Many. Pallbearers were Howard Colston, Sylvester Colston, Billy
Wayne Colston, Aubrey Colston, W. D. Colston, and Jimmy Colston.

  Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Louise Hayes of New Llano,
and Mrs. Hattie Gilmore of Vidor, Tex.; a son, J. B. Tindall of
Vidor, Tex.; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
