Speight A. Stringer

  Last rites for Speight A. Stringer, age 58, who died May 10, was
conducted at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church at 1:30 p.m., May 12,
with Rev. Bobby McCollough, Rev. Efton Martin, and Rev. Jason Kay
officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were W. F. Thomas, Willie Dewil, Quinton Stringer,
Lee Hayes, Homer McNeely, James Stringer, Arthur Byrd, Sid
Presley, S. M. Williams, and Lambert Carroll.

  Survivors are two brothers, W. M. Stringer of Toro, T. B.
Stringer of Fisher; two sisters, Mrs. Bell Stowell of Jasper,
Texas, Mrs. Mary Ross of Hornbeck.
