Mrs. Ruthie Mae Salley

  Mrs. Ruthie Mae Salley, 79, of Belmont, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999 in Shreveport
after a brief illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21 at Spring Ridge Baptist Church
with interment following at Spring Ridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. The Rev. Doug
Clements officiated and the Rev. Hoyt Leach assisted.

  Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Joe E. Salley of Belmont; three daughters,
Robbie Wise Gaddis and husband Clyde of Pleasant Hill, Patsy Wise Lambert of Natchitoches
and Jo Ann Maroney of Belmont; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

  Honorary pallbearers were his grandsons Chuck, Rickey and Rob Gaddis, David and Todd
Derrick, Tommy Wise and Jody Maroney.
