Mrs. Cora Slay

  Funeral servces for Mrs. Cora Murray Slay, 89, of Anacoco,
were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, in the Pisgah Baptist Church
in Hornbeck, with the Rev. Bobby McCullough, and the Rev. P.
Lionel Crowell officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery,
under the direction of the Hixson Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Slay died Thursday, Aug. 31.

  Survivors include two sons, Carvel Slay and Alvin Slay, both
of Hornbeck; one daughter, Mrs. Leland Lenahan of Anacoco; one
brother, A. N. Murray of Liberty, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Minnie
Kroh of Search, Ark.; six grandchildren, and 12
great-grandchildren.
