The Sabine Index - Mrs. R. C. Slay

  15 Nov 1938 - Funeral services for Mrs. R. C. Slay of Hornbeck,
who died at her home in Hornbeck Sunday, were held at the Baptist
church of Old Pleasant Hill Monday with Rev. Gill of Mansfield
conducting the services.  The Dennis-Green funeral home of
Leesville had charge of arrangements.

  Mrs. Slay's relatives from here attended the funeral rites were
her niece, Mrs. Jeff Speir, Mrs. George Sirman and Mr. Sirman,
and Mrs. Fred Wagley and Mr. Wagley.

  Mrs. Slay leaves a husband and four children and three sisters
to mourn her passing.
