I. L. Slay 
  
  Funeral services for Irvin L. Slay Sr., 92, of Shreveport, were 
held Wednesday, at 4 p.m,., in Wellman's Funeral Home. 
  
  Officiating was the Rev. Alford Mitchell, pastor of Southside 
Baptist Church in Mansfield. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery. 
  
  Mr. Slay died Monday, at Heritage manor Nursing Home in 
Mansfield, following a short illness. 
  
  Survivors include a son, Alvin M. Slay of Marthaville.
