Ira Salley

  Ira Salley of Many, 82, died on Friday, July 19, at 4 p.m., in
Many, after an extended illness. Funeral services were held on
Saturday, July 20, at 4 p.m., at the Belmont Baptist Church, with
the Rev. J. P. King officating. Burial was in the Belmont
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Edna Salley of Many; one son,
Carroll Salley of Many; one daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Holtzclaw of
Colton Valley; two brothers, Mickel and J. O. Salley, both of
Shreveport; one sister, Mrs. Etta Ramsey of Shreveport; and five
grandchildren.
