All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Ray Salley Ray Salley, 73, died in the Schumpert Medical Center Hospital in Shreveport, Tuesday, May 3, at 7 a.m. Surviving relatives include the widow, Mrs. Addie Evans Salley of Belmont; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Salley Wooley of Belmont; three brothers, Everett Salley, and Johnnie Salley, both of Shreveport, and Charlie Salley of Converse; three sisters, Eleanor Mitchell of Many, Eloise Mancil of Belmont, and Mrs. Inez Walker of Baytown, Tex.; three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 4, at 4:30 p.m., in the Union Baptist church of Belmont, with the Rev. J. P. King officiating. Interment was in the Belmont Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Alvin Warmack, Claude Remedies, LaWayne Horton, Floyd Lopez, Guy Wayne Maxey, David Armstrong, Glenn Howard, and Alfice Brumley.
