Slay, 42, of Moss Bluff, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Many. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Mrs. Slay died at 7:15 a.m., Monday, Sept. 24, at her residence, following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, and had lived in the Lake Charles - Moss Bluff area for the past 12 years. Survivors include her husband, David Slay; two sons, David Slay, and Nicholas Slay, and one daughter, Keturah Slay, all of Moss Bluff; four sisters, Mrs. Barbara Nash of American Falls, Idaho, Mrs. Florence Lewis of Santa Cruz, Calif., Mrs. Alice Hepple, and Mrs. Lucille Childs, both of Salt Lake City, Utah; and her mother, Mrs. Kate Wade of Salt Lake City, Utah.
