Services were held at Springridge Baptist Church on Jan. 17, at 3:30 p.m. Rev. Marshal Ingles officiated, and Rev. Charles Duncan assisted. Burial was at Springridge Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Helen Salley of Belmont; three sons, Kenneth Salley of Keatchie, Carlton Salley, and Royce Lane Salley, both of Belmont; one step son, M. C. Manasco of Shreveport; two brothers, T. E. Salley of Sarepta, and Joe Salley of Belmont; five sisters, Mena Dowden of Bossier City, Eula Sellers of Shreveport, Carrah Steadman of Pelican, Opal Sistrunk of Pleasant Hill, and Lois Austin of Sulphur; and ten grandchildren. Pallbearers were Glen Ponder, Bob Terrell, Stuart Williams, Gene Craig, Nolan Rains, Dean Dyce, Buddy Free, and Lloyd Free.
