Jodie Self

  Jodie Self, 80, of Many, died in Many on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 7
p.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lula Mae Self of Many; two
sons, Joseph Gerald Self of Many, and James Rex Self of Houston,
Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Miller of Houston, Tex., and
Mrs. Geneva Peters of Burkville, Tex.; a brother, Claude Self of
Many; and 11 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel
on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Johnny Rhodes, and
the Rev. Tibbitts officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Carmel
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
