Edward F. Self

  Edward F. Self, 80, of Zwolle, died on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 4
p.m., at his residence, following an extended illness.

  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eula Mae Self of Zwolle; three
sons, Edward Self Jr. of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, Elmer
Self of Diana, Tex., and Rufus D. Self of Zwolle; four daughters,
Lydia Craig, Rachael Aaron, and Mary Aaron, all of Zwolle, and
Helen Cates of Converse; one brother, Chester Self of Orange,
Tex.; one sister, Irma Smith of Kirbyville, Tex.; 25
grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a number of nieces
and nephews.

  Funeral services were held at the Zwolle Church of Christ on
Friday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m., with the Rev., Ottis Jeans, the Rev.
George Hook, and the Rev. Wilson Campbell officiating. Burial was
in the Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
