Artie Mae Self

  Services for Mrs. Artie Mae Self, 74, of Pleasant Hill, were
held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, at Spring Ridge Baptist
Church in Pleasant Hill. Brother Willard Coleman officiated.
Burial was at Spring Ridge Cemetery. Plans were under the
direction of Rockett Nettles Funeral Home in Coushatta, La.

  Mrs. Self died Sunday, September 2, 1984, at Pleasant Hill
Hospital, after a brief illness.

  She is survived by her husband, Henry P. Self of Pleasant Hill;
three sons, Leo Windham of Many, La., John Self of Seiper, La.,
and Albert Self of Andrews, Texas; six daughters, LaJune Smith of
Many, La., Gwen Stewart of Port Arthur, Texas, Pat Robinson of
Pleasant Hill, Mary McAlde of Livingston, Alabama, Veronica Loupe
of Houston, Texas, and Nora Dodson of Houma, La.; two sisters,
Mrs. Julia Lynch of Noble, La., and Mrs. Odelle Wall of Bossier
City, La.; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
