Robert DeWitt Self, Sr.

  Services for Mr. Robert DeWitt Self, 104, of Leesville, were
held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, February 25, at the Beech Grove
United Methodist Church. Rev. W. H. McCullough, and Rev. John
Littleton officiated. Burial followed in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Services were under the direction of Beauregard Funeral Home in
Leesville.

  Mr. Self, a native of Toro, La., and a resident of Leesville,
was born in 1880. He was a farmer and timberman. He passed away
at 10:45 p.m., Saturday, February 23, 1985, at Byrd Memorial
Hospital in Leesville.

  He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Dove, and Mrs.
Inez Pringle, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Della Thompson of
Anacoco; one son, Robert D. Self Jr. of Bryan, Texas; five
grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great
grandchildren.
