Arthur R. Self Sr.

  Mr. Arthur R. Self Sr., 88, of Many, died at Sabine Medical
Center in Many, on January 19, 1989.

  Services were held at Warren Meadows Chapel on Jan. 21, at 11
a.m., with Bro. Earl Marr, and Bro. Dowden officiating. Burial
was at Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  He is survived by his wife, Daisy Self of Many; one son, Arthur
Self Jr. of Killeen, Tex.; two sisters, Annie Mae Pike of
Henderson, Tex., and Gertrude Schooner of Jackson, Miss.; two
grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and three great-great
grandchildren.
