James Edward Self

  Mr. James Edward Self, 74, died at Heritage Manor Nursing Home
in Many, on Feb. 6, 1989.

  Services were held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, on Wednesday,
Feb. 8, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Earl Marr, and Rev. Frank Burton
officiating. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include four sons, Monroe Self of Coushatta, Lee Eddie
Self of Florien, Jimmy Don Self of Many, and Stan Self of Many;
five daughters, Lorene Skinner of Hornbeck, Dianne Pelow of
Bossier City, Katherine Cole of Shreveport, Bonnie Self of
Hornbeck, and Connie Matkin of Provencal; one brother, Frank Self
of Fisher; one sister, Alice Self Williams of Warren, Tex.; 22
grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
