Gilbert Wesley Self

  Mr. Gilbert Wesley Self, 80, of Many, died at Kurthwood Manor
Nursing Home in Leesville, La., on May 4, 1989.

  Services were held at Warren Meadows Chapel, on May 6, at 3
p.m., with the Reverends Arthur Haymon, Horlice Myliam, and H. H.
Tibbitts officiating. Burial was at Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Margaret Self of Many; three
daughters, Sybil Grizzle of Many, Sue Lingle of Ridgeport, Tex.,
and Judi McRae of Anacoco; one son, Gilbert Self of Leesville; 14
grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and
nephews.
