Henry Paul Self

  Services for Henry Paul Self, were held at 10 a.m., June 28,
1989, with the Rev. E. W. Golman officiating. Burial followed in
the Springridge Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St.
Denis Funeral Home of Natchitoches, La. Mr. Self, 85, of Pleasant
Hill, passed away, June 26, at the North Sabine Nursing Home in
Pleasant Hill. Mr. Self was a retired oil field worker, and
farmer.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nina Self of Pleasant Hill;
three sons, Leo Windham of Many, Albert Self of Midland, Texas,
John Henry Self of Orange, Texas; six daughters, Gwendolyn
Stewart, Port Arthur, Texas, LaJune Smit, and Pat Robinson, both
of Pleasant Hill, Mary McAfee, and Veronica Sue Loupe of Houston,
Texas, Nora Dobby of New Orleans; one sister, Hazel White of
Whitehurst, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and
1 great-great grandchild.
