  Charlie Coleman Self - July 7, 1988

  Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Self, 82, will be held today,
July 7, at 10 a.m. at the Ft. Jesup Baptist Church. Interment
will follow at the Ft. Jesup Cemetery. Officiating will be the
Rev. H. H. Tibbits and Rev. Earl Marr.

  Mr. Self passed away July 4, at the Oak Wood Nursing Home in Mer
Rouge, La. after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Sabine
Parish and a member of the Fort Jesup Baptist Church.

  He is survived by his wife, Doretta Self of Many, one son,
Charles Self of Shreveport, one daughter, Shirley Miller of
Bastrop, La., one brother, Gilbert Self of Many, five
grandchildren, Gary and Rusty Self of Shreveport, Debbie & John
Mark Stuart of Shreveport, Allen & Sandy Miller of Fort Worth,
Texas, Jan Miller of Bastrop, and one great grandchild, Jarred
Michael Stuart of Shreveport and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.
