Daisy Dixie Self

  Services for Mrs. Daisy Dixie Self, 86, were held at 2 p.m.,
Friday, September 4, at Alford Heights Baptist Church.

  The Rev. Jeff Hoffman, and Rev. Earl Marr officiated. Interment
was followed in Ft. Jesup Cemetery.

  Mrs. Self died Wednesday, September 2, at Cushing Care Center in
Nacogdoches.

  She is survived by one son, A. R. Self Jr. of Killeen; one
sister, Maureen Russell of Many; one brother, J. C. Forbis of
Many; two grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were James Jessup, Ralph Russell, Roy Gondall, Billy
Jessup, Harvel Vaught, and Allen Sanches.
