Mrs. Lizzie Self

  Funeral services were held for Mrs. Lizzie Self, age 88, at the
Beulah Baptist Church, who passed away Oct. 13, in a Leesville
hospital, after a lengthy illness. She had made her home for the
last two and a half years with her daughter in New Llano near
Leesville. Prior to that, she was a lifelong resident of Sabine
Parish near Many.

  Services were officiated by Rev. Hubert Windham of the First
Baptist Church of New Llano, assisted by a minister of the Beulah
vacancy. Burial was in the Beulah Church Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were her nephews.

  Survivors are one son, H. E. Self, San Diego, Calif.; and one
daughter, Mrs. Lois Clarke of New Llano; two grandchildren,
Felton T. Cowart of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. S. L. Sanderson of
Natchitoches, La.; and nine great grandchildren; and numerous
nephews and nieces.
