Mr. James Lee Silas

  On Dec. 13, 1993, Mr. James Lee Silas died at Bossier Medical
Center. He was 79 years of age. He is survived by three
daughters, Julia Cobb of Princeton, La., Dorothy Paul of
Mansfield, and Helen Kappers of Haughton; two sons, Herman Silas
of Mansfield, and Jesse Silas of Campti; five sisters, Elizabeth
Casey of Bossier City, Gertrude Rushton of Bossier City, Mary
Toby of Many, Lucille Procell of Many, and Ida Spears of
Hemphill; one brother, Dan Silas of Jennerette, and 20
grandchildren; and 42 great grandchildren.

  Services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with
burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery, on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at 10
a.m. Father Danny Walsh will officiate.
