Mrs. Bertha Mae Slaughter

  Mrs. Berthas Mae Slaughter died at the age of 70, at Sabine
Medical Center in Many, on December 11, 1987.

  Services were held at Plainview Baptist Church, on Dec. 13, at 2
p.m., with the Rev. Kenneth Leach, and Rev. Doug Hilton
officiating. Burial was at Middlecreek Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include her husband, Leonard T. Slaughter of Many; two
daughters, Eula Mae Killian of Many, and Janis Killian of
Florien; two sons, Raymond T. Slaughter, and Louis Slaughter,
both of Florien; two sisters, Bea Hardy of Many, and Emma Ledoux
of Shreveport; one brother, James Brumley of Elm Grove; 12
grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
