H. M. Slaughter

  H. M. (Rastus) Slaughter, 37, died Tuesday, Nov. 2?, in
Shreveport, after a short illness.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Carolyn Slaughter of Robeline; one
daughter, Janet Faye Slaughter; one son, William Joseph
Slaughter, both of Robeline; mother, Mrs. G. R. Slaughter of
Robeline; three brothers, Leroy Slaughter of Minneapolis,
Minnesota, Curtis Slaughter of Robeline, and G. R. Slaughter Jr.
of Brooklyn, N. Y.; two sisters, Mrs. C. L. Knippers of
Provencal, and Mrs. V. S. Flenniken of Hobbs, N. M.

  Funeral services were held in Cedron Baptist Church, Thursday,
Nov. 25, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. E. E. Dees officiating. Burial
was in the Cedron Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home of Many.
